I would NOT advertise in the paper because you will get a lot of bookkeepers responding who think they are qualified and you can end up with a mess. Since you have tax questions, I would stick with a CPA for those, and if you just need a general bookkeeper, the CPA can probably recommend one to you. Most CPA's know which bookkeepers in the area are good at what they do and which ones they have to straighten out the mess on at the end of the year.
